Coronavirus Vietnam Safe for travel? Update February 6th, 2020
Many European and American tourists carefree to play on the beach or sunbathe, or read books at An Bang beach in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province on February 6, 2020.
A tourism businesswoman said:
"Sunny like this, tourists come here very normal. Just like it is normal for me to welcome them. They also have face masks to protect themselves, nothing serious."
Tourists coming to Hoi An and bathing at An Bang An beach are more interested when the local authority affirmed that so far in Hoi An, it has not been able to detect cases of tourists exhibiting coughing fever because all were checked tight when coming to Hoi An.
An American tourist said:
"My family did thorough research on the disease situation happening in Hoi An and Da Nang City, but there were no infected people, so we feel safe when visiting here. We will be more careful when wearing masks in crowded places and washing hand sanitizer."
Mr.Nguyen Van Thanh, Head of the Hoian City's Culture and Information Department, said that:
" Before the Lunar New Year, there was a written request for service owners in An Bang to strictly list the full price to serve tourists coming to An Bang beach."
